Brooklyn and friends together in the forest
OUR STORY

It started with me trying to find myself again.

And somewhere along the way, it became something so much bigger.

I’m Brooklyn.

A mother, a creative, an entrepreneur, a woman with a million ideas, and someone who’s spent a lot of her life figuring things out along the way.

I’ve been building businesses, creating things, photographing people, and bringing ideas to life for over 12 years.

But Brooklyn Jade Collective didn’t begin with some perfectly thought-out business plan.

It started during a season when I was trying to find little pieces of myself again.

And I had no idea just how much it would grow.

CHAPTER ONE · THE BEGINNING

The little things that brought me back to myself.

When I was pregnant with my second son, I was in a season of life where everything seemed to revolve around being needed.

I was a mom, a wife, and the person trying to keep all the moving pieces together.

And while I loved being a mother, I also knew what it felt like to lose myself in it.

After my first son, I had experienced postpartum depression and anxiety. It was a really difficult chapter of my life, and one that changed the way I understood motherhood, identity, and my own well-being.

When I was expecting my second baby, I knew how important it was for me to have something that felt like mine.

Something creative.
Something I could get excited about.
Something that reminded me I was still a whole person outside of everything I did for everyone else.

So I started making things. Handcrafted pieces, clothing, accessories, and little creative ideas that made me happy.

There wasn’t some huge business strategy behind it. I just needed something I could call my own.

And slowly, that little creative outlet started turning into Brooklyn Jade Designs.

What began as a way to reconnect with myself became something I wanted to share with other people. I started selling my creations, showing up at markets, meeting people, and finding so much joy in creating things that made other women feel good.

I thought I was building a small business.

But looking back, I was building a way back to myself.

CHAPTER TWO · THE BECOMING

What started with creating things became something much deeper.

The longer I built Brooklyn Jade, the more I started realizing that it wasn’t just the products I loved.

It was the people.

The conversations at markets. The women who would stop and share their stories. The friendships, the connection, and the little moments that reminded me how much we all have going on behind the scenes.

And I started thinking about how many women spend years taking care of everything and everybody while slowly losing their connection with themselves. I understood that feeling because I’d been there.

For years, I was also learning how to balance entrepreneurship with raising my children, including homeschooling them until 2026.

There were so many different versions of me trying to exist at the same time. The mother. The business owner. The creative. The wife. The woman who still had all these big dreams she wanted to chase.

And somewhere through all of it, I started realizing that I didn’t have to choose just one.

I could be all of those things.
I could change direction.
I could want something different.
I could grow into versions of myself I hadn’t even met yet.

Over the past three and a half years, I’ve also had the opportunity to help create and facilitate women’s circles and experiences. And that work has become one of the most meaningful parts of my life.

I’ve seen what can happen when women come together and feel comfortable enough to be honest about where they’re at. When they can laugh, cry, create, talk about the messy parts of life, and just be themselves without feeling like they have to hold everything together.

It changed the way I looked at what I wanted to build.

I didn’t just want to create things women could wear. I wanted to create things women could experience.

Spaces where they could connect. Opportunities to see themselves differently. Moments that reminded them there was still so much of themselves left to discover.

That’s where experiences like The Muse Within started becoming such an important part of Brooklyn Jade Collective. Creative spaces where women can explore who they are through photography, movement, connection, and self-expression.

Because I believe our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being all matter. And I believe we deserve to make room for those parts of ourselves, even when life gets busy.

“Women deserve lives that feel like their own. Not just lives they’re constantly trying to keep up with.”

CHAPTER THREE · THE COLLECTIVE

Everything I’ve learned has brought me here.

Something I’ve realized over the years is that none of the different things I’ve done were ever really separate. They were all teaching me something.

I’ve been an entrepreneur for over 12 years.

I spent years as a wedding and family portrait photographer, learning how to tell stories, connect with people, make them comfortable in front of the camera, and capture the moments that matter.

I also spent seven years working in administrative support for Olympia Financial Corporation, learning the systems, organization, communication, and behind-the-scenes work that keep a business moving.

I’ve built my own businesses, developed products, planned launches, created content, worked with other business owners, organized events, and brought ideas into real life.

I’ve also changed directions more than once. I’ve had ideas that worked, ideas that didn’t, and moments where I had to figure out an entirely new way of doing things.

And through it all, I’ve learned something about myself. I really, really love helping people create things.

Not just talking about what could happen. Actually figuring out how to make it happen.

I love a big fucking dream. I love listening to someone talk about an idea they’ve been sitting on forever and helping them see how it could become something real.

I love pulling apart the big picture, looking at all the moving pieces, and building the steps to get there. And I love the work that comes after.

The creating.
The consistency.
The accountability.
The doing.

That’s why business strategy, creative direction, and hands-on business support have become another natural part of what I offer. Because all those years spent creating, building, organizing, photographing, and working with people have brought me to a place where I get to help other women do the same.

Today, Brooklyn Jade Collective is a home for the things I’ve spent years building and believing in.
